Expanding Defense Access Roads Program
To enhance national security and military readiness, AFCA worked with Congressional allies to secure legislation that expands the Defense Access Roads program, allowing funds to be used to address flooding on roads leading in and out of military and defense industry sites.
Passing FLOODS & PRECIP Acts
In response to increasingly frequent and devastating rainfall events, AFCA helped pass the Providing Research and Estimates of Changes In Precipitation (PRECIP) and the Flood Level Observation, Operations, and Decision Support (FLOODS) Acts. Together, these bipartisan laws will improve federal rainfall data by ensuring they account for the frequency and intensity of future storms.
