Shaping Florida’s landmark resilience legislation
In Florida, AFCA secured passage of the Always Ready law, which created a statewide resilience plan that directs over half of a billion dollars for flood projects. The legislation further also established a statewide Flood Hub to collect, develop, and distribute the forward-looking data needed to protect Floridians from flooding.
